Girlpool is an indie rock band from Los Angeles, California, formed in 2013. The group originally consisted of two members, Cleo Tucker (guitar, vocals) and Harmony Tividad (bass, vocals), who quickly became known for their minimalistic sound and raw, honest lyrics. Their music often features themes of vulnerability, friendship, and identity. Girlpool's discography includes several albums that have garnered critical acclaim within the indie music scene. They released their debut self-titled EP in 2014, followed by their first full-length album "Before the World Was Big" in 2015. The band's sound evolved with the release of "Powerplant" in 2017, which introduced a fuller arrangement with drums. Their third album, "What Chaos Is Imaginary," came out in 2019 and showcased a further development in their sound and songwriting. In April 2022, they released "Forgiveness," continuing to explore new sonic territories while maintaining their distinctive lyrical style. Over the years, Girlpool has gained a dedicated fan base and has toured extensively, both as headliners and as support for other artists.
