George Baker Selection

George Baker Selection

Dutch Pop-Rock Band

The George Baker Selection was a Dutch pop band from the late 1960s and 1970s, fronted by singer-songwriter Johannes Bouwens, who is better known under his stage name George Baker. The band first came into the international spotlight with their hit single "Little Green Bag" in 1969, which reached the top 20 on American pop charts and gained renewed fame decades later when it was featured in Quentin Tarantino's 1992 film "Reservoir Dogs." Following the success of "Little Green Bag," the George Baker Selection continued to enjoy popularity, particularly in Europe, with their blend of rock, pop, and folk influences.
