Fredro Starr is an American rapper, actor, and author, best known as a member of the multi-platinum hardcore rap group Onyx, which he co-founded in 1988 with his cousin Sticky Fingaz and others. Born on April 18, 1971, in Queens, New York, Fredro Starr embarked on his music career in the early 1990s. Onyx gained fame with their debut album "Bacdafucup" in 1993, which featured the hit single "Slam." As a solo artist, Fredro Starr released several albums, including "Firestarr" in 2001 and "Don't Get Mad Get Money" in 2003.
