Extremities

Extremities is a progressive/groove metal band from Eindhoven, the Netherlands and was founded in 2015. Their music takes influence from bands such as Textures, Gojira and Opeth. The songs are dynamic, combining heavy riffing with smooth ambient guitar melodies, and alternating between catchy clean hooks, often fast paced harsh vocals and tonal screaming. Extremities tears stages apart with their energetic live performance and leaves the audiences amazed and hungry for more. The band is coached by members of Textures, Epica, Within Temptation, Alkaloid and Apophys. In 2016 they played Noorderslag and they won both the Metal Battle and the DMF Band battle. At the end of this year Extremities have played the following festivals: Dynamo Metal Fest, Stonehenge, Baroeg Open Air, Skullfest, Sneker Metal Meeting, Tattoofest and Angelfest Doetinchem and share the stage with artists such as Anthrax, At The Gates, Zardonic, MaYaN and Textures. Their debut album “Rakshasa” was recorded at Split Second Sound and David Luiten Recordings, mixed by David Luiten and mastered by Jochem Jacobs (Textures).
