Evgueni Bushkov

Evgeny Bushkov (born 1968) is a Russian violinist and conductor. Chief Conductor of the Minsk Chamber Orchestra (since 2009). Honored Artist of the Russian Federation (2008). Having stopped performing as a violinist, he turned to the art of conducting. In 2002-2009 he was the conductor of the New Russia State Symphony Orchestra. Since 2009 he has been the chief conductor of the State Chamber Orchestra of the Republic of Belarus. In 2012-2014 he was the chief conductor of the Academic Symphony Orchestra of the Saratov Regional Philharmonic named after Schnittke. Son - Marc Bouchkov - also a famous violinist.
