Estonian National Male Choir

Estonian Choral Ensemble

The Estonian National Male Choir, also known as RAM (Rahvusmeeskoor), is a renowned male choir based in Estonia. Founded in 1944 by the legendary Estonian choral conductor Gustav Ernesaks, the choir has since become one of the most prominent all-male choral ensembles in the world. The choir's repertoire ranges from Gregorian chant and baroque to contemporary compositions, with a special focus on Estonian composers' works. Throughout its history, the Estonian National Male Choir has won numerous awards and accolades, including a Grammy Award for Best Choral Performance in 2004 for their recording of Sibelius' "Cantatas." The ensemble frequently collaborates with orchestras and has performed under the baton of many esteemed conductors. They have toured extensively, bringing Estonian choral music to audiences around the globe.
