Engel is a melodic death metal band from Gothenburg, Sweden, formed in 2005. The band is known for blending classic death metal elements with electronic and industrial influences, creating a unique sound within the metal genre. Engel has undergone several lineup changes throughout their career but was originally founded by Niclas Engelin, guitarist of In Flames and formerly of Gardenian.
