Ellen Hargis is a renowned American soprano specializing in Baroque music. She has built a reputation as one of the world's foremost interpreters of early music, with a repertoire that extends from the medieval to the classical era. Hargis has performed with many of the leading period instrument ensembles, including The Harp Consort, The King's Noyse, and The Boston Camerata. Her collaborations with esteemed conductors and directors such as Paul O'Dette and Stephen Stubbs have been critically acclaimed.
