Egg

Egg

British Progressive Rock Band

Egg was a British progressive rock band formed in July 1968. The group consisted of Dave Stewart on keyboards, Mont Campbell on bass and vocals, and Clive Brooks on drums. They were known for their complex musical structures and for being part of the Canterbury scene, a regional subset of progressive rock that emerged in the late 1960s and early 1970s. Egg's music often featured intricate arrangements and was heavily influenced by classical music, particularly the works of Johann Sebastian Bach.
