Edward Reekers is a Dutch singer and voice actor, best known for his role as the lead vocalist of the progressive rock band Kayak. His career with Kayak began in the late 1970s when he joined the band to replace their original singer. With his distinctive voice, Reekers contributed to several of Kayak's albums and hits during his tenure. Apart from his work with Kayak, he has also pursued a solo career, releasing albums under his own name. In addition to his musical endeavors, Reekers has made a name for himself in voice acting, lending his voice to various animated films and television series in the Netherlands.
