Edmund

Edmund is an Austrian band consisting of the musicians Markus Kadensky and Roman Messner. Roman Messner and Markus Kadensky have known each other for over a decade, but played in different bands and made music for themselves. Roman Messner played in the band All Faces Down and Markus Kadensky among others with “Freilaut”. They played together for the first time at a jam session in early 2017, and a few months later "Edmund" was born. The band name was chosen after Edmund "Mundl" Sackbauer from the TV series A real Viennese. Their first album was Freindschoft, which reached number 4 in the Austrian charts. The single of the same name received over 5 million views on YouTube. The singles Rondstah and Lebmsgfü received over 800,000 views on YouTube.
