South Korean Alternative R&B Artist

DPR Ian, whose real name is Christian Yu, is a multifaceted artist known for his work as a singer, music video director, and former idol. He is part of the DPR collective, which stands for Dream Perfect Regime, a multi-genre music and video group based in South Korea. The collective includes artists, producers, directors, and other creatives who collaborate on various projects. DPR Ian ventured into his solo musical career with the release of his debut album "Moodswings In To Order" in 2021. The album showcases his unique style that blends elements of alternative R&B with introspective lyricism. Prior to his solo endeavors and work with DPR, Christian Yu was known as Rome, the leader of the K-pop group C-CLOWN that was active from 2012 to 2015. After the group's disbandment, he shifted his focus to directing and producing music videos and other visual content under the DPR banner before stepping back into the spotlight as a recording artist.
