Détente

Détente was an American thrash metal band known for their aggressive style and socio-political lyrics. The band was formed in the early 1980s in Los Angeles, California. They gained a certain level of underground notoriety with their debut album "Recognize No Authority," which was released in 1986. This album became a cult classic within the thrash metal community due to its raw energy and the powerful vocals of Dawn Crosby, who was one of the few female vocalists in the genre at that time. After the release of "Recognize No Authority," Détente experienced several lineup changes and periods of inactivity.
