Dutch symphonic metal band

Delain is a Dutch symphonic metal band formed in 2002 by former Within Temptation keyboardist Martijn Westerholt and vocalist Charlotte Wessels. The band's debut album, "Lucidity," released in 2006, featured guest performances from various musicians and established their presence in the symphonic metal scene. Their follow-up album, "April Rain," was released in 2009 and continued to build their reputation with its melodic approach and catchy choruses. Over the years, Delain has experienced several lineup changes but has consistently been anchored by Westerholt's keyboard work and Wessels' vocal performances.
