David Kushner

Emerging American Singer-Songwriter and Musician

David Kushner is an American musician and composer, best known as the rhythm guitarist for the hard rock supergroup Velvet Revolver. The band, which also featured former Guns N' Roses members Slash, Duff McKagan, and Matt Sorum, as well as lead vocalist Scott Weiland from Stone Temple Pilots, was formed in 2002. Velvet Revolver released two albums during their active years: "Contraband" in 2004 and "Libertad" in 2007. "Contraband" was particularly successful, debuting at number one on the Billboard 200 and earning a Grammy Award for the single "Slither." Despite their initial success, the band went on hiatus following Weiland's departure in 2008. Outside of Velvet Revolver, Kushner has worked on various musical projects and has composed scores for TV series and films. His career spans various collaborations and contributions to the rock music scene.
