Dave Stewart is a renowned British musician, songwriter, and record producer, best known for his work with the Eurythmics, the iconic pop duo he formed with Annie Lennox. After the Eurythmics went on hiatus in 1990, Stewart formed a new band called Dave Stewart and The Spiritual Cowboys. This group was an outlet for Stewart's musical exploration beyond the synth-pop sound that had made him famous. The band released two albums: their self-titled debut "Dave Stewart and The Spiritual Cowboys" in 1990 and "Honest" in 1991. These records showcased a blend of rock, folk, and country influences, diverging from the electronic sound of the Eurythmics.
