Courtney Love is an American musician and actress, best known as the lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist of the alternative rock band Hole. Formed in 1989, Hole gained widespread attention with their uninhibited live performances and raw, emotive music. Love's lyrics often explored themes of body image, identity, and personal trauma, resonating with many fans. The band's breakthrough came with their second album, "Live Through This," released in 1994 just days after the death of Love's husband, Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain. Despite personal turmoil, Love continued to lead Hole to commercial and critical success throughout the 1990s. The band released several albums before disbanding in 2002, though they briefly reunited in 2010.
