Finnish Death Metal Pioneers

Convulse is a Finnish death metal band formed in 1990 in Nokia. They are considered to be one of the earliest bands from the Finnish death metal scene, and their debut album "World Without God," released in 1991, is highly regarded in the genre for its raw and brutal sound. The band initially split up in 1994 after releasing their second album "Reflections," but they reunited in 2012 and have since released additional material, including the album "Evil Prevails" in 2013. Convulse's style is characterized by aggressive guitar riffs, deep growling vocals, and fast-paced drumming, typical of early death metal.
