Cold War Kids is an American indie rock band that formed in 2004 in Long Beach, California. The band's lineup consists of Nathan Willett (vocals, piano), Matt Maust (bass guitar), David Quon (guitar, backing vocals), Matthew Schwartz (keyboard, backing vocals), and Joe Plummer (drums, percussion). They first gained widespread attention with their debut album "Robbers & Cowards" released in 2006, which received critical acclaim and featured the single "Hang Me Up to Dry." Over the years, Cold War Kids have been known for their soulful, blues-infused rock sound and have released several albums that showcase their evolving style.
