Cobra Starship

Cobra Starship

Pop Punk/Electropop Band

Cobra Starship was an American pop punk band formed by lead vocalist and bassist Gabe Saporta in 2006 after his previous band, Midtown, disbanded. The group was known for their blend of pop, punk, and dance music. They gained significant mainstream recognition with the single "Snakes on a Plane (Bring It)," which was featured on the soundtrack for the film "Snakes on a Plane." Cobra Starship released several albums throughout their career, including "¡Viva La Cobra!" in 2007 and "Hot Mess" in 2009. The latter album contained the hit single "Good Girls Go Bad," which featured Leighton Meester and became a top-ten hit in the United States. The band continued to enjoy success with tours and television appearances before announcing their disbandment in 2015.
