Swiss Progressive Rock Band

Clepsydra is a Swiss progressive rock band formed in the early 1990s. Their music is characterized by intricate keyboard arrangements and melodic guitar work, often drawing comparisons to other progressive rock acts such as Genesis and Marillion. Clepsydra gained a following within the European progressive rock scene with their debut album "Hologram" in 1991, followed by several more albums throughout the 1990s, including "More Grains of Sand" in 1994 and "Fears" in 1997. The band is known for their concept albums and thematic compositions that often explore deep and personal subjects. After a period of inactivity, Clepsydra reunited for live performances and continued to maintain a dedicated fan base within the prog-rock community.
