Chalice

Chalice was a gothic doom metal band that formed in Adelaide, South Australia, in 1996. The band was known for their melodic blend of dark, atmospheric music with female lead vocals. Throughout their career, they released several albums that contributed to the gothic metal genre. Their debut album, "Chronicles of Dysphoria," released in 2000, was well-received within the metal community and helped establish their presence. They followed up with "An Illusion to the Temporary Real" in 2001, which continued to build their reputation for crafting emotive and layered music. The band's third album, "Augmented," released in 2003, showcased further development in their sound and musicianship. Despite their contributions to the scene and a growing fan base, Chalice disbanded in 2007 after a decade of creating music together.
