Catapilla was a British progressive rock band formed in the late 1960s. They were known for their experimental and psychedelic sound, which was characterized by lengthy instrumental passages, complex arrangements, and the powerful vocals of their lead singer, Anna Meek. The band released their self-titled debut album "Catapilla" in 1971, which showcased their unique blend of jazz, rock, and avant-garde influences. They followed up with their second album "Changes" in 1972. Despite the originality of their music and the critical acclaim they received, Catapilla did not achieve significant commercial success and disbanded in the mid-1970s.
