Brant Bjork

Desert Rock Pioneer and Multi-Instrumentalist

Brant Bjork is a multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter, and producer, best known as a drummer for the influential stoner rock band Kyuss, which was active in the early 1990s. After Kyuss disbanded, Bjork went on to contribute to other musical projects and eventually launched a solo career. His work is characterized by a blend of stoner rock, funk, and psychedelic influences. Over the years, Brant Bjork has released several solo albums, including "Local Angel" (2004) and "Tres Dias" (2007), showcasing his laid-back and groovy approach to rock music. "Punk Rock Guilt" was another album released in 2008. In addition to his solo work, he has been involved with bands like Fu Manchu and Vista Chino (formerly known as Kyuss Lives!), further cementing his reputation within the desert rock scene. Bjork has also produced albums for other artists and runs his own record label, Low Desert Punk Recordings. His contributions to the genre have made him a respected figure in the stoner rock community.
