Bombay Bicycle Club

Bombay Bicycle Club

British indie rock band

Bombay Bicycle Club is an English indie rock band formed in North London in 2005. The band consists of Jack Steadman (lead vocals, guitar, piano), Jamie MacColl (guitar), Suren de Saram (drums), and Ed Nash (bass). They gained recognition after winning the 'Road to V' competition in 2006, which earned them a slot at the V Festival. The band's debut album, "I Had The Blues But I Shook Them Loose," was released in 2009 to critical acclaim. They followed up with several more albums, including "A Different Kind of Fix" in 2011 and "So Long, See You Tomorrow" in 2014, which won the Ivor Novello Award for Best Album. After a brief hiatus starting in 2016, the band returned with their fifth studio album, "Everything Else Has Gone Wrong," in 2020. Throughout their career, Bombay Bicycle Club has been known for their eclectic musical style, incorporating elements of folk, electronica, world music, and indie rock.
