Slovak Chamber Orchestra

Bohdan Warchal was a prominent Slovak violinist, conductor, and the founder of the Slovak Chamber Orchestra. Born on January 27, 1930, in Orlová, Czechoslovakia, he was a significant figure in classical music during the second half of the 20th century. Warchal studied violin at the Bratislava Conservatory and later at the Moscow Conservatory. In 1960, he established the Slovak Chamber Orchestra, which quickly gained recognition for its artistic excellence.
