Blodwyn Pig

Blodwyn Pig

British Blues-Rock Band

Blodwyn Pig was a British blues-rock band formed in 1968 by guitarist–vocalist Mick Abrahams after he left Jethro Tull following creative differences with the band's frontman Ian Anderson. Abrahams was a key figure in the band and his departure from Jethro Tull led to the creation of Blodwyn Pig, which allowed him to explore a sound that was more heavily influenced by blues and jazz, as opposed to the progressive rock direction that Jethro Tull was taking.
