Black Cat Bones

Black Cat Bones

British Blues-Rock Band

Black Cat Bones was a British blues rock group that formed in the late 1960s. The band is known for their album "Barbed Wire Sandwich," which was released in 1969. Although they did not achieve major commercial success, Black Cat Bones were an influential part of the British blues movement, contributing to the genre with their gritty sound and raw performances. The band's lineup included guitarist Paul Kossoff and drummer Simon Kirke, who would both go on to greater fame as founding members of the band Free. After the release of "Barbed Wire Sandwich," Black Cat Bones underwent several lineup changes and eventually disbanded. Their legacy, however, lives on through the music they created and their influence on the musicians who followed them.
