Bishop Allen is an American indie rock band that originated in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Formed by Justin Rice and Christian Rudder while they were students at Harvard University, the band took its name from Bishop Allen Drive in Cambridge. The group's music is known for its catchy melodies, clever lyrics, and an eclectic mix of instruments. After self-releasing their debut album "Charm School" in 2003, they gained wider recognition with their ambitious project of releasing one EP every month for the entire year of 2006. This endeavor culminated in a significant amount of material that would contribute to their subsequent albums.
