Beaux Arts Trio

Renowned Chamber Music Ensemble

The Beaux Arts Trio was a highly esteemed chamber music ensemble that was founded in 1955. The trio consisted of pianist Menahem Pressler, violinist Daniel Guilet, and cellist Bernard Greenhouse. They quickly gained recognition for their refined and passionate performances, becoming one of the most prominent piano trios in the world. Over the course of their career, which spanned more than five decades, the Beaux Arts Trio performed a vast repertoire ranging from the classical period through to contemporary works. They were particularly noted for their interpretations of Beethoven and Mozart trios, as well as those by Dvořák and Schubert.
