Bane was an American hardcore punk band that originated from Worcester, Massachusetts, formed in 1995. The band was known for its passionate and socially conscious lyrics, as well as energetic live shows. Bane released several albums and EPs throughout their career, with "Give Blood" (2001) and "The Note" (2005) being among their most notable works. They were a significant part of the hardcore scene and were known for their advocacy of the straight edge lifestyle, though not all members followed it. The band announced their final tour in 2014 and officially disbanded after playing their last show in June 2016, leaving behind a legacy that influenced many in the hardcore punk community.
