American Conductor and Pianist

Andrew Litton is a distinguished American conductor and pianist, renowned for his versatile musicianship and extensive repertoire. Born on May 16, 1959, in New York City, he developed an early passion for music which led him to pursue studies at the Fieldston School, Harvard University, the Juilliard School of Music, and the Aspen Music School. Litton's career has been marked by his tenure with various orchestras around the world. He served as the Music Director of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra from 1994 to 2006, where he made significant contributions to the ensemble's artistic growth. Additionally, he has held positions with the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra in Norway and the Colorado Symphony Orchestra.
