Acrimony

Acrimony was a Welsh stoner metal band that formed in 1991. Known for their psychedelic and heavy sound, the band was part of the early stoner rock movement, drawing influences from Black Sabbath and Hawkwind. Acrimony released several albums during their active years, including "Hymns to the Stone" in 1994 and "Tumuli Shroomaroom" in 1997. Despite never achieving mainstream success, they gained a cult following and were respected within the stoner rock and doom metal scenes for their contributions to the genre. The band eventually disbanded in 2001, but their music continues to be influential within the stoner rock community. Members of Acrimony went on to form other projects, such as Sigiriya and Black Eye Riot, continuing their musical careers post-Acrimony.
