Finally, new material from Van Morrison The songwriting legend Van Morrison is back. With "Keep Me Singing", the Irishman releases a new studio album in 2016. With "Duets: Re-Working The Catalogue", the singer recently revisited his musical past. It is an album of duets on which he reinterprets his old songs with stars like Steve Winwood and Mark Knopfler. With "Keep Me Singing," however, Van Morrison is once again looking to the future, as aside from a cover of the blues classic "Share Your Love With Me" (Aretha Franklin, Kenny Rogers and others), the album features songs he composed and wrote exclusively. With one exception: for the song "Every Time I See A River" he got the support of British lyricist Don Black. Van Morrison also produced the album himself. In addition to the eleven vocal tracks, the album includes the purely instrumental song "Caledonia Swing". No hint of an ending. Fortunately. Even at 70, Van Morrison proves that he is one of the most prolific and best songwriters in the world. "Keep Me Singing" is proof of that.
