Night of Hunters - CD

Tori Amos: Night of Hunters version on CD in Standard edition. This particular edition was published in Europe in publishing company Deutsche Grammophon in cooperation with Music On CD on 31. May 2019.

Amos described this album as a 21st century song cycle inspired by classical music themes more than 400 years old. It pays tribute to classical composers such as Charles Valentin Alkan, Johann S. Bach, Frédéric Chopin, Claude Debussy, Erik Satie and Franz Schubert, and takes inspiration from their original compositions to create new, independent songs. The album, which relies on piano and an octet of orchestral instruments (strings and winds), features most of Tori's (and her then 10-year-old daughter Natasha's) vocals.

Album spans genres Baroque Pop, Art Pop, Singer-Songwriter, Chamber Music and Classical Crossover.
