Tom Petty And The Heartbreakers released their third album Damn The Torpedoes in 1979. The album was produced by Jimmy Iovine and recorded at Shelter Studios in Los Angeles. It was Petty's first album with The Heartbreakers and featured the singles "Don't Do Me Like That", "Refugee" and "Here Comes My Girl". The album reached number two on the Billboard 200 chart and was certified triple platinum by the RIAA.
