It's hard to believe the band had only been together for a year when they recorded this timeless classic. Long after its release, many fans still compared the Zombies album to the Beatles' Sgt. Pepper. The book "Odessey & Oracle", published in April 1968, was largely ignored after its release - although today original copies sell for no less than £500. The album "Odessey & Oracle" is widely regarded as one of the seminal albums of the late 1960s and was ranked 80th in Rolling Stone magazine's poll of the greatest albums of all time.
