The Police: Around The World (Restored & Expanded) CLR | LTD version on vinyl LP/DVD in colored limited Remastered edition. This particular edition was published in USA in publishing company Mercury Studios (5) in cooperation with Universal Music Group and Cherrytree Records on 24. February 2023.

Mercury Studios is pleased to announce the release of The Police's archive, Around The World Restored & Expanded, which focuses on the band's first international tours in 1979 and 1980. Shot in a travelogue style, the film shows the band on and off stage, exploring local cultures and performing for fans on six continents. The show was previously only available on VHS and laserdiscs. For the first release on DVD and Blu-ray, the footage was restored and the audio was remixed and mastered. The DVD and BD bonus features include 4 complete performances from the concert, which will be accompanied by live audio on CD or LP. See below for a full list of formats. Around The World follows The Police's first world tour in 1979 and 1980 as they visited six continents and built a fan base show by show, country by country and song by song. Between shows, the film offers a light-hearted look at the band as they travel the world and visit local landmarks. Presented with restored video and remastered audio, Around the World includes full performances of the 4 songs featured in the documentary. Recorded during The Police's first world tour, the CD and LP show Sting, Andy Summers and Stewart Copeland playing with the enthusiasm and passion that made them the best band in the world. The recordings were made in Japan, Hong Kong and England and feature tracks from the first two albums. The DVD+CD and Blu-ray+CD will include a commentary track by Police guitarist Andy Summers.
