Splinter is the seventh studio album by punk rock band The Offspring, released in 2003. The album was recorded in just two weeks and features 14 tracks, including the singles "Hit That" and "Can't Repeat". Musically, the album is heavier and darker than the band's previous recordings and the lyrics deal with themes such as addiction, violence and depression. The album Splinter was well received by critics and was a commercial success, reaching number four on the Billboard 200.
