On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the release of The Band's album "Music From Big Pink", a remixed and expanded edition is being released. This milestone in music history, released in 1968, has now been remixed and released in an expanded 50th anniversary edition. All versions include a new stereo mix of the album, created by Bob Clearmountain from the original four-track analog masters. Also included are previously unreleased short interview excerpts from the studio recordings. The CD and box sets also include five outtakes and alternate versions from the Big Pink recording sessions and a previously unreleased a capella version of "I Shall Be Released".
