25th Anniversary Reissue It's been 25 years since Sparks released the famous "Gratuitous Sax & Senseless Violins" album. To mark the anniversary, three 25th Anniversary reissues are now being released: an LP, a 3-CD set and a 2-CD set. "Gratuitous Sax & Senseless Violins" is the 16th album by the American rock icons. Originally released in 1994 after a six-year hiatus, it reached number 29 on the charts in Germany. Probably the best known track from this house and techno album is the single "When Do I Get to Sing 'My Way'". The new sets include a remaster of the album on CD or LP as well as B-sides, remixes, live recordings and unreleased tracks with vocals by Christi Haydon on two bonus CDs. The box set features sleeve notes by Ron and Russell Mael. Classics in a new sound and with many interesting bonus tracks: here is "Gratuitous Sax & Senseless Violins" (25th Anniversary Edition) by Sparks. CD 1: Original album remastered CD 2: Remixes / B-sides / Official release CD 3: Demos and unreleased tracks.
