The soundtrack of his life This was Pink Floyd's eleventh album and the band's fourth concept album, "The Wall". It was released in 1979 and tells the story of musician Pink, who, like bassist and singer Roger Waters, lost his father in the war and therefore, as well as other various circumstances, builds an imaginary wall around himself. Between 2010 and 2013, Waters rededicated himself to this story, which is to some extent his own, and staged arguably the greatest concert tour by a solo artist of all time. During this period, some four million people saw the musician live in more than 200 concerts on four continents. The comprehensive concert soundtrack "Roger Waters: The Wall" is now available on double CD and in a limited edition on three LPs. In addition, the film footage of the legendary tour will be released on DVD, Blu-ray and in a limited special edition on two Blu-ray discs, which contain an additional 80 minutes of bonus material in addition to the concert film. It includes a live performance of "Comfortably Numb" from the O2 Arena with David Gilmour and "Outside The Wall", also with Gilmour and Nick Mason. The album was produced by English producer Nigel Godrich, who is known for his work with Radiohead, Beck and Paul McCartney. The concert film "Roger Waters: the Wall" was directed by Sean Evans and Roger Waters. In addition to live songs and his breathtaking stage show, it shows the musician and accompanies him backstage. The result is an extremely artful blend of live show, documentary and intimate portrait - between life on tour, an emotional road trip and an anti-war message.
