Robert Plant publishes a new anthology Digging Deep: Subterranea. This limited edition features 30 exceptional songs from four decades, including three previously unreleased new tracks. Digging Deep features groundbreaking tracks from each of the GRAMMY Award-winning artist's eight masterful solo albums, including many songs that were featured on Digging Deep with Robert Plant. Highlights include the rock hit no. 1 "Hurting Kind" and the GRAMMY-nominated "Shine It All Around" and the previously unreleased exclusive "Nothing Takes The Place Of You" (written by New Orleans musician Toussaint McCall and recorded for the 2013 film Winter In The Blood), "Charlie Patton Highway (Turn It Up - Part 1)" from the forthcoming Band Of Joy Volume 2 album and a spectacular duet version of Charley Feathers' rockabilly classic "Too Much Alike" with Patty Griffin. On Digging Deep, Plant is joined by a truly remarkable line-up of musicians, including Jimmy Page, Buddy Miller, Patty Griffin, Phil Collins, Nigel Kennedy, Richard Thompson and his Strange Sensation / The Sensational Space Shifters brothers. Robert Plant's music is the result of a lifelong musical journey from the Welsh borders to the Sahara and from Nashville to the Misty Mountains. The influences and friends he has made along the way are reflected in his songs.
Album can be classified in the genre Rock.
