No Rest for the Wicked is the fifth studio album by Ozzy Osbourne , released on September 22, 1988. It is the first album to feature guitarist Zakk Wylde, who replaced Jake E. Lee. The album reached number eight on the Billboard 200 chart and was certified double platinum by the RIAA. The album spawned four singles, "Crazy Train", "Mr. Crowley", "Shot in the Dark" and "No Rest for the Wicked". No Rest for the Wicked was recorded at Ridge Farm Studios in Surrey, England. The album was produced by Osbourne and Duane Baron. Baron also served as the album's engineer. The album artwork was created by Osbourne and Wylde. The album No Rest for the Wicked was praised by music critics. Stephen Thomas Erlewine of AllMusic called it "an outstanding hard rock album" and "Ozzy's best album in years".
