"Liebe lebt - Die größten Hits zum großen Mireille Mathieu Jubiläum". A very personal selection from 50 years of musical career with the greatest German successes and French chansons. The first title that the little French girl with the big voice recorded in Germany, "Hinter den Kulissen von Paris", was recorded in 1969 in a Berlin studio close to the Berlin Wall. This hit should not be missed on this double CD, as well as "La Paloma ade", "Martin", "Santa Maria", "Ganz Paris ist ein Theater" or the hits from the last albums "In meinem Herzen", "Nah bei dir" and "Wenn mein Lied deine Seele küsst". Mireille Mathieu herself has selected four of her favourite songs. A very personal gift to all her fans. With the songs "Wenn zwei sich lieben", "Dear Madame", "Und wieder heißt es Abschied nehmen" and "Walzer d'amour" these are songs that were previously only released on LP or MC. Of course, there is also a small musical detour to France: in the song "La vie en rose", the "demoiselle d'Avignon" recalls her great role model Edith Piaf."
