Ministry frontman Al Jourgensen combines dance beats with more menacing and gritty sounds than Ministry's earlier synth-pop leanings, not to mention dystopian, anti-establishment lyrics. Produced by Tack>>Head member and On-U Sound label owner Adrian Sherwood, it impresses with its grit and beauty that sounds almost anachronistic. The whole album is a killer groove from start to finish, sweetly industrial-mechanical and the beginning of a great story that Ministry have been through over the years. The album is great for fans of any genre of music, it's catchy and still heavy but remains danceable. Put it on today and it still sounds like music from the future.
