The German project Milky Chance came to attention last year when their single Stolen Dance made them globally famous. It topped the charts worldwide for weeks and won countless platinum awards. The two university classmates from the city of Kassel have thus become one of Germany's most followed newcomers. The band is currently working on new songs for their next album, which they have already announced with the new release Cocoon.
Milky Chance impressed with their unique blend of folk, reggae and electronica. And because this concept has worked so well in the past, Clemens Rehbein and Philipp Dausch are relying on a fusion of these musical styles this time too, which in the case of the song Cocoon they have enriched with elements of house, flamenco and pop. The result sounds very fresh, hit at first listen and Milky Chance hits the mark again with their new album!
