The American band Maroon 5 is one of the most successful groups of the last decade. The band has sold more than seventeen million albums and has been awarded gold or platinum status in thirty-five countries.The new fourth studio album by Maroon 5, which also boasts several Grammy Awards, is called "Overexposed" and features thirteen songs in its basic form. Fans who get the deluxe version will get three more songs and two remixes. The production of the album was handled by Max Martin, who is known for producing albums by Katy Perry, Pink, Kelly Clarkson, Celine Dion or Backstreet Boys... Some of the songs were also produced by Benny Blanco or Ryan Tedder, who is known primarily as the frontman of OneRepublic. Maroon 5 themselves describe the album as their most varied and their most popular album to date. The album also features several exclusive guests. The first to be revealed is rapper Wiz Khalifa, who can be heard on the song "Payphone". It was this track that the six musicians from California chose as the pilot single and it has already become a big radio hit.
