Ever since their debut album "Battle Hymns" Manowar have been a major force with international success, the 1988 album and the "Kings Of Metal" world tour the following year catapulted them into a new realm. Songs like "Heart Of Steel" (and the German rendition of "Herz aus Stahl"), "Kings Of Metal", "Hail And Kill" and "Blood Of The Kings" became instantly popular anthems and are still among the most requested songs at concerts today - celebrated not only by Manowar fans. To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the release of "Kings Of Metal", Manowar recorded a special new version of the album: "Kings Of Metal MMXIV". It follows the "Kings Of Metal MMXIV" world tour. The new version will honor the original as inspiration while unleashing additional energy and bringing the full power of today's technology and 25 years of experience; the album will also feature new arrangements and live elements added over the years. The new recordings will also feature new elements in the form of guitarist Karl Logan and drummer Donnie Hamzik, who have performed these classic anthems live many times and will now have the opportunity to add their own distinctive sound and style to this legacy.
