One of the album's best-known tracks, however, is the single "The Bonny Swans". Finally: with "The Mask And Mirror", Loreena McKennitt's fifth album of 2016 is available on vinyl again. Meanwhile, "The Mask And Mirror" has sold more than three million copies worldwide and won the Juno Prize for "Best Roots/Traditional Album" in 1995. Spanish, Celtic and Moroccan influences are evident in the songs, which trace a journey of inspiration from Ireland to Santiago de Compostella. In addition to setting the poems of St. John of the Cross and William Shakespeare, the album includes eclectic original lyrics full of texture - such as the seductively dramatic "The Music's Dream" (featured in Paramount Pictures' Jade) and "Marrakesh Night Market."
